About the game
Bird Sanctuary is a relaxed garden-building game about attracting wild birds. Your field is a grid of grassy plots. Spend seeds on trees, feeders, ponds, flower beds and bushes, and birds start dropping by. Tap a visitor to take its photo: new species fill your bird book and earn extra seeds to keep building.
The interesting part is that birds are picky about their neighbourhood. Each species needs a mix of habitats inside one small 3x3 patch: a robin wants a tree and a feeder, a kingfisher a pond and a tree, a blue jay a tree, a feeder and a bush, and rare guests like the golden oriole, the owl and the swan ask for even more. The cards at the top show what each target needs. But a busy garden draws attention, and when a crowd gathers a fox, and later a hawk, comes hunting and can scare off a whole flock. Bushes keep nearby birds hidden, and a tap chases the hunter away. Each day has a list of birds to spot before sunset.
