About the game
Chameleon Snap is a quick-fire arcade game about a hungry chameleon with a very picky stomach. Bugs flutter past the branch and you tap one to flick your long sticky tongue at it. The rule is simple: the bug's body must match your skin. Eat the wrong colour and you feel sick; snap up a wasp and it stings.
The twist is in the wings. Every bug has a body colour and a wing colour, and when you swallow it your skin changes to the wing colour. That means each catch decides what you can eat next. Quick chains raise your combo up to x5, so the smart move is to pick a bug whose wings match plenty of other bugs on screen. Each of the 24 levels asks for a number of bugs before time runs out, adding more colours, faster flyers, wasps, shimmering moths and golden fireflies that match anything. Stars come from your score.
