About the game

Cipher Crack is a cryptogram game built from short, classic English proverbs. Every letter of the saying has been swapped for a different one, and your job is to swap them back. Tap a code letter, then pick the real letter on the keyboard, and every copy of that code letter updates at once. The puzzle text stays in English, while the menus speak your language.

Frequency bars show how often each code letter appears, which is the oldest trick in code breaking: in English, E, T, A and O turn up the most. Each puzzle also gives you one free reveal of its most common letter. Thirty-six proverbs grow from three short words to long sayings, and every one was checked so that only one reading fits.
