About the game
Color Gate is a rhythm-flavoured hopping game. Tap to bounce a glowing ball upward through rings and sliding bars made of coloured pieces. The ball may only touch pieces of its own colour, and colour orbs along the way give it a new one. Every gate passed holds a star.
What makes it different is that nothing spins smoothly. Each gate snaps a quarter turn on the beat of the music and then holds still, so the colour in your path stays put for a whole beat. Miss your colour and you simply wait one beat for the next. Rings are wide enough to hover inside: slip in on your colour, wait two beats, slip out the top. Stars unlock faster tracks and new ball shapes.
