About the game

Cup Catch is a physics toy game built around the classic wooden cup-and-ball. A ball hangs on a real simulated string from the handle, and you hold the toy with your finger. Pull up with a smooth motion and the string lifts the ball into the air; slide sideways and a cup can be waiting underneath when it comes down. Each level gives you a short trick list, such as big cup, small cup and the top cup, to land in order before the timer runs out.

The string is the heart of the game. Your hand's pull is passed to the ball, so a gentle lift gives a neat, predictable toss, while a sudden yank throws it wildly to the side. A cup only keeps the ball if it arrives softly, so good players follow the ball down a little as it lands. After each catch the ball pops up again, which lets you chain tricks from cup to cup. Later levels use smaller cups, longer strings and a breeze.
