About the game
Fishing Line is a calm day on a little wooden dock. Tap the water to drop your bait right where you want it, then watch the shadows below. Fish come over to sniff, nibble once or twice and then really bite. Tap the big "!" to hook it.
Then the fight starts. Hold to reel and keep the marker inside the green zone. A fresh fish makes the zone small and jumpy; as it tires, the zone grows wide and calm. Pull too hard and the line snaps, too soft and the fish swims off. Thirty species live at three depths, each with a favourite bait and time of day, from dawn sardines to night-time anglerfish. Sell your catch, buy a longer line, a stronger rod or new bait, and fill your book.
