About the game
Hill Hauler is a driving game about getting fragile cargo over bumpy hills in a bouncy pickup truck. The truck bed is loaded with wood crates, glass, eggs, melons and barrels, and none of it is fixed in place. Every bump, jump and hard stop throws the load around; land too hard and the eggs crack, take a jump too fast and a melon flies out the back.
The twist comes before you drive: you only get a few tie-down straps, and you choose which crates they hold. Strapped cargo is safe, the rest depends on how gently you drive. Hold the right side for gas and the left to brake; in the air, gas tips the nose up and brake tips it down. Ten routes award stars for the value you deliver, and coins buy a better engine, tyres, springs, extra straps and a tailgate.
