About the game
Liar Tiles is a calm logic puzzle with a sneaky rule. The grid is split into coloured rooms, and some tiles show numbers. Shade tiles so that no two shaded tiles touch side by side and all the light tiles stay connected in one piece. A number tells how many of its four neighbours are shaded, and number tiles are never shaded themselves.
The catch: in every room exactly one number is lying. Your job is to find it and put a fox mask on it, and the game then trusts every other number. Spotting the liar is often the key step, because two numbers in a room that cannot both be true tell you a lot. Each grid has one answer, checked by a solver. You have three hearts per grid, and stars depend on how few mistakes you make. Grids grow from 4x4 to 8x8.
