About the game
Loop Hex is a quiet tile puzzle set on a lily pond. Each hexagon tile carries three coloured water channels, and every pond asks for one colour, shown at the top, to close into a single loop through all the tiles. When it does, an otter slips into the water and swims the whole loop.
The catch is the edge rule. A tile can only be laid next to the tiles already on the board, and every edge it touches has to match colours, not just the loop colour. So the loop grows under the rules of its neighbours, and a tile that fits the loop may still clash with the tile beside it. On the board a tap turns a tile to its next fitting angle. 25 ponds grow from three tiles to ten.
