About the game
Map Run is a small orienteering race. A fox in a bright bib runs on its own; you steer left and right and punch the numbered flags in order, from the start triangle to the finish arch. Meadows and dirt paths are fast, woods and marsh slow you down, hills make you puff, and lakes and rocks stop you cold.
The twist is the map. It stays still while you run, so after a few turns your left can point to the right of the screen and the next flag slips out of view. Tap the compass and the fox stops for a moment while the map spins to face the way you run. Every check costs time, and a rival badger runs the best route as a ghost. Finish ahead of it for three stars across twenty courses.
