Controls
Tap- Each tap turns a room a quarter turn clockwise.
- Doors are the gaps in the walls, marked by red rugs; two rooms connect when their doors meet.
- When the doors form an unbroken route from the cat's room to the bowl, the cat walks it one room at a time; turning a room on the way ahead stops it until you reconnect.
- Use as few turns as you can: matching the solver's minimum earns three stars without hints.
- HINT glows the next room to turn on the cheapest route.
- Run out of turns and the cat falls asleep.
About the game
Room Turn is a gentle rotation puzzle set in a house that seems to have been built by someone who never met a floor plan. Every room has doors in odd places: some go straight through, some turn a corner, some open three ways and a few lead nowhere. A cat is curled up in its bed in one room and its dinner is waiting in another, and your job is to spin rooms until a path of matching doors joins the two.
The moment that path exists, the cat gets up and pads through it one room at a time, so the puzzle keeps moving while you think. You can keep turning rooms while it walks: turn one ahead of it and it stops and waits, turn the room it is standing in and the cat spins with the furniture. Larger houses add T-shaped rooms that open shortcuts, so the obvious route is often not the cheapest one; a solver works out the fewest turns needed for every house, and matching it earns three stars. Eighteen houses grow from three by three to six by six.
