About the game
Same Steps is a puzzle about a team that can only take orders together. Up to four little robots share a single remote, and every swipe moves all of them one square in the same direction. Your goal is to park each robot on the pad of its own colour at the same moment.
The trick is the bump. When a robot walks into a crate, the edge of the room or another robot that cannot move, it stays where it is while the others keep going. That is the only way to change the gaps between them, so every crate is a tool, and planning which robot should bump where is the whole puzzle. Later rooms add holes in the floor that swallow any robot that steps in, plus more robots and bigger rooms. All 25 levels were solved by a computer search, and stars reward matching the shortest solution. Undo is free, and a hint shows the next best step.
