About the game
Shell Roller is a gentle physics platformer about a garden snail with two ways to move. Crawling sticks to every floor, wall and ceiling, so you can climb straight up a stone wall or hang upside down over a bramble patch, but it is slow. Tuck into the shell and you become a rolling ball: fast enough to fly across a pond, bouncy on red mushrooms, but unable to climb and quick to drop off any ceiling.
The fun is in switching. Roll off a ledge, let go in mid-air and the snail sticks to the cliff it hits; bounce up from a mushroom and let go to cling to the roof. Twenty gardens add slippery glass that only holds from the top, shelves you must hang under, and hedgehogs patrolling the paths. Strawberries along the way earn stars.
