About the game
Snowflake Cut is the classroom paper snowflake turned into a puzzle. A hexagon of paper is already folded into one thin wedge. You choose a round, triangle or diamond cut and snip it into one of the marked spots, then unfold to see the result next to the target flake.
The trick is that the folds copy every cut twelve times. A notch on the left fold becomes a ring of holes on the six points, the same notch on the right fold lands on the six flat sides, an edge cut reshapes the whole outline and a cut at the tip opens the centre. You get exactly as many snips as the target needs, and three sheets of paper per flake. A wrong unfold shows what was off and costs a star. Later flakes are shown turned, so you first have to find where a point is.
