About the game
Wildfire Crew drops you into fire season with a red helicopter and a small ground crew. The forest burns cell by cell: dry grass flares up and dies fast, pine stands burn long and hot, and lakes, rocks and dug earth stop the flames. Wind pushes the fire forward and, when it blows hard, throws embers over narrow gaps. Tap a fire to drop water on a three by three patch; the tanks refill one by one. Switch to the shovel and drag to dig firebreaks.
The twist is the forecast. Ten seconds before the wind changes, the wind card starts counting down and ghost arrows sweep across the map, so you can dig on the side that is about to face the flames. Keep enough houses standing until the rain arrives. Twenty-five maps, each checked by a test crew.
