About the game
Yarn Trail is a quick routing game about a kitten and a ball of yarn. Each living room has a few pieces of furniture and a handful of fish treats on the floor. Your kitten bats the ball in the direction you swipe, and the ball keeps rolling until something stops it: a wall, a sofa, a table, a potted plant, or the yarn it has already unrolled. The yarn stays on the floor behind the ball and cannot be crossed, so one careless line can wall off the treat you still need. The clock at the top counts down, and the yarn meter shows how much is left on the ball.
The twist is the rewind button. Hold it and the kitten winds the yarn back up, retracing the trail cell by cell. That clears the floor and refills the ball, but the clock does not stop, so every rewind is a trade between space and time. Treats you already ate stay eaten, which means a smart rewind after a dead-end grab is often the fastest route. Later rooms give the ball less yarn than a single tour needs, so a rewind is part of the plan. Twenty-four rooms grow from 3 treats to 10. Stars come from time left.
