About the game
Ghost Lap is a chase game where the only thing chasing you is yourself. A little field mouse dashes around a walled garden picking up crystal seeds. When all the seeds of a lap are collected, that whole run is recorded, and from the next lap on it replays as a glowing ghost mouse that loops your old path. Touch a ghost and you lose a heart.
So every lap changes the next one. A messy zig-zag now becomes a wall of ghosts later, while tidy routes along the edges leave room to move. Hedges block the way, the lap timer gets tighter and later gardens ask for more laps. The last five laps haunt the garden at once. Finish with all three hearts for three stars.
