About the game
Kayak Rapids is whitewater slalom seen from above, with the river rushing up the screen. Tap left and right in turn to drive the kayak forward, or tap one side a few times to slide across the current. Green gates are cleared by paddling between the poles as you shoot downstream. Touch a pole and you lose two seconds, miss a gate and you lose five, and every rock you bounce off costs momentum.
The twist is the eddy. Behind each rock the water curls back on itself, drawn as circling foam, and inside it the current stops pushing. Red gates sit in those
