  3. Customers who find an empty shelf or wait too long leave.
  4. After closing, check tomorrow's weather: sun sells drinks and ice cream, rain sells umbrellas, a festival sells popcorn and payday lifts everything (an up-arrow marks the hot items).

  6. End the week at or above the goal for a star; well above for three.

About the game

Mini Mart is a small shop-keeping game with two rhythms. During the day it is all hands: animals wander in with a short shopping list, take what is on the shelves and join the line at the till. You hop between topping up shelves from the back room and tapping the till to scan items, while patience bars shrink over the heads of the people waiting. An empty shelf at the wrong moment means a customer walks out with nothing, and a long line means people give up and put their things back.

In the evening it slows down and becomes a planning game. The delivery truck only comes once a day, so whatever you order tonight is all you get tomorrow. A forecast board shows tomorrow's weather: hot days empty the drink and ice-cream shelves, rainy days send everyone looking for umbrellas while ice cream sits untouched, festival days want popcorn, and payday makes everybody spend more. Every crate costs money now and only pays back if it sells, so over-ordering eats your cash and under-ordering empties your shelves. Eighteen weeks add more products, busier days, hungrier queues and higher goals.
