About the game
Paper Route is a breezy side-scrolling arcade game about a paper round. Pedal down the same street every day for a week, switch between the sidewalk and the road, and throw newspapers up toward the houses. A paper in the mailbox is perfect, one on the porch is fine. Dogs dash out with a warning bark, cars flash their lights, and trash cans and skaters block the way.
The twist is that the street remembers. Bright houses with a red flag are your subscribers. Skip one and it cancels and turns grey for the rest of the week. A paper through any window costs twenty dollars. Deliver a perfect day and a new reader signs up. Make it to Sunday to win.
