About the game
Plate Spinner is a quick circus act for one busy monkey. A row of whippy poles stands in the ring, each with a plate on top, and every plate slowly loses its spin. When one starts to wobble, tap its pole: the monkey dashes over and gives it a twirl. If a plate stops, it crashes onto the sawdust.
The catch is the force. Tap a plate that is still fast, or tap twice, and it spins too hard: it drifts sideways, bends its pole and clinks into its neighbour, which wobbles in turn. Glass plates shatter on any clink. So the best act is calm: one gentle tap at the wobble. Twenty-four shows across a big top, a night circus and a seaside pier bring more poles, quick tin plates, glass and sea gusts.
