About the game
Commute City is a city builder that fits in your hand. Each map gives you an eight by ten patch of land, a little money and a population goal. Drag roads, place homes, shops and factories, and drop a power plant nearby. Every day new citizens move into homes that have a road, power, a job they can drive to and air they can breathe, and the little windows light up as families arrive.
What makes it different is that pollution and traffic are not hidden numbers. Factories puff smog that drifts over the neighbours, and every commuter actually drives home to work along your roads, so busy streets glow yellow and then red. Switch the view to see smog or traffic as a heat map, then fix it: parks soak up smog and calm the roads around them. Twenty-five maps add rivers, rocks and bigger goals.
