About the game
Ring Lock is a safe-cracking puzzle made of nested rings. Each ring has a notch, and the safe opens when every notch lines up under the marker at the top. Tap the right side of a ring to turn it one step clockwise, the left side to turn it back.
The catch is that the rings are geared together. A gear list under the lock shows which ring drags which: turn red and yellow moves too, maybe in the opposite direction, maybe twice as far. So every turn changes more than one ring, and the lock becomes a small logic puzzle instead of a fiddle. Early locks have no gears, then the links pile up. There are 24 locks, each built backwards from the open position, with the fewest possible turns shown as Best. Matching it earns three stars.
