About the game
Rope Fling is a one-button swinging game over a wide river valley. Hold down and you throw a rope at the nearest bird ahead of you, then swing beneath it like a pendulum. Let go and you fly off with all the speed you built up. Keep chaining birds to cross as far as you can.
The twist is that your anchors are alive. Each bird only puts up with you for a moment, shown by a ring that shrinks around it. When the ring runs out, the bird flies off with your rope and you drop. So you can't hang on and wait for the perfect angle; you have to release while the bird is still willing. Fall into the river and the run ends, although the first seconds have a safety net. Score is the distance travelled.
