About the game
Shell Shuffle is the old cup-and-ball trick, played on a sunny beach by a crew of hermit crabs. A pearl drops under one shell, the shells come down, and the crabs scuttle around each other faster and faster. When they stop, tap the shell that hides the pearl. Three wrong picks on a beach and you are out.
The catch is that hermit crabs love to trade homes. Every so often two neighbours swap shells while standing still, and that is where the colour of the crab matters. A blue crab leaves the pearl inside its shell, so you follow the shell. A red crab keeps the pearl in its claw, so you follow the crab. There are 24 beaches, from three slow shells to six crabs making double moves, each with three to five rounds and up to three stars.
