Controls
Hold- Hold the left or right half of the screen to spin the shield.
- Block red bolts, let gold sparks in to fill the core's ring and clear the stage.
- Blocking with the gold emblem in the middle is a PERFECT.
- Keys: Left/Right.
About the game
Shield Spin puts you in charge of a glowing core in the middle of space. An arc-shaped shield orbits it, and you spin the shield by holding the left or right side of the screen. Red bolts fly in from every direction; block them or they crack the core. Golden sparks are the opposite: open a gap and let them in, because they fill the core's energy ring. Fill the ring to clear the stage; let it run dry and the core goes dark.
There are 24 stages, and each brings in one new idea at a time: bolts from every side, PERFECT blocks with the gold emblem in the middle of the shield, twin bolts, big bolts that need two blocks, gold hiding right behind red, violet ghosts that slip through a spinning shield, ice that freezes your shield, curving bolts, splitters and solar wind.
