About the game
Slalom Ski is an endless downhill race against the clock. Steer through each pair of gate poles to earn a little extra time, and cross the yellow checkpoint lines for a bigger boost. Miss a gate and you lose three seconds; clip a tree and you go down, losing two more. Your score is how far down the mountain you get.
The heart of it is carving. Your turns build up gradually, and at every speed there is a limit to how sharply you can turn, shown on the carve meter. Stay under it and your skis carve clean arcs that keep your speed; go over it and you skid in a spray of snow and bleed speed. Chain clean gates for a bonus.
