About the game
Station Swap is a calm sliding puzzle on a toy railway. A fox, a penguin, a frog and their friends each drive a little steam engine, but they have all parked at the wrong stations. There is only one free station, so every move is a train rolling along a track into the gap, and the map decides what is possible.
On a single loop, trains can only go round in a circle. Two trains can never trade places that way, unless the loop has an odd number of stations, and in these networks that is always the long one. Learning when to take the long way round is the heart of the game. Twenty-five levels grow from a three-stop line to figure eights, ladders and a busy hub, each with a par worked out exactly. Every move burns a lump of coal, undo is free, and a hint shows the best next move.
