About the game
Binary Bulbs is a cozy number game on a rooftop at night. An owl lamplighter holds up a number on a marquee sign, a hamster runs in a wheel to power a string of party bulbs, and you flip the switches until the lit bulbs add up to the number. The order is done the moment the lights match.
The bulbs are the trick. Each one is worth double the bulb to its right, 1, 2, 4, 8 and up to 128, and each is drawn bigger in the same way, so you can see how binary numbers work instead of memorising it. You start with three small bulbs, and new, bigger bulbs are screwed in as you go. Later orders become sums, differences and doubles, and doubling a number turns out to be sliding every light one bulb to the left. Twenty-four levels, three stars each for using few extra flips, and the hamster only has so much power.
