About the game
Chess is the full classic game against four owl opponents. Pip the chick owl plays loose and leaves pieces lying around, Hoot is a steady club player, Sage calculates several moves ahead, and Grand, the crowned master, punishes every slip. Every rule is here: castling, en passant, promotion, checkmate, stalemate, the 50-move rule and threefold repetition.
What makes it different is the coach. Pieces of yours that can be taken for free pulse red, enemy pieces you can win get a green ring, and when you pick up a piece each target dot shows green for safe or red for risky. Win games to raise your star rating and climb to the next owl.
