About the game
Clap Back is a call-and-response rhythm game. A chick bandleader claps a bar, the metronome keeps going, and the very next bar is yours: clap the same rhythm back. Your claps land on the track under the leader's dots, so you can see exactly where you rushed or dragged, and every clap you add that was not in the call counts as a mistake.
Each level is a short song of five to seven phrases. The pattern grows a little every phrase, and then the tricky part arrives: a clap you have been playing turns into a rest, sometimes right on the downbeat. Later levels are faster, run two bars long, and hide the dots during the call so you have to listen. A missed phrase costs a heart and is called again.
