Controls
TapHold- Your card is at the bottom, the middle card is above it. Exactly one symbol appears on both; tap it on your card to play your card onto the middle, and the next card in your stack comes up.
- A wrong tap freezes you for a second. The rivals at the top are searching too, and whenever anyone plays, the middle card changes.
- Empty your stack first to win. Stars: winning, two mistakes or fewer, and every rival still holding two or more cards.
- 2 PLAYERS: sit across from each other; each player taps on their own card.
About the game
Twin Symbol is a quick-reflex party card game built on a neat bit of mathematics. Every card carries six or eight little pictures (animals, fruit, stars, rockets and more) and any two cards in the deck share exactly one of them, never zero and never two. The deck is built from a finite projective plane, which is the same trick behind the famous family spotting games, so there is always exactly one right answer between your card and the middle card.
Finding it is the hard part. Every symbol is drawn at its own size and angle on every card, so the match can be a huge fox on one card and a tiny tilted fox on the other. The animal rivals at the top are hunting at the same time, and the moment anyone plays, the middle card changes and your search starts over. Tap a wrong picture and you freeze for a second. Eighteen solo matches add rivals, speed them up, move from six to eight symbols per card and make the sizes wilder; you earn stars for winning, for staying accurate and for winning by a clear margin. The 2-player duel puts one card in front of each player at opposite ends of the phone and one shared card in the middle.
