About the game
Cross Tiles is a garden version of Domineering, a classic two-player puzzle. You are a beaver builder laying tall tiles that cover two cells, one above the other. Your animal rival lays wide tiles that cover two cells side by side. You take turns, and whoever has no room for a tile on their turn loses.
The beds are never plain squares. Ponds, flower beds, notches, combs and rings shape every level, and those odd outlines create spots where only one kind of tile can ever fit. The board marks them for you: mint cells are yours alone, orange cells belong to the rival. An owl coach teaches the key ideas on the first four beds, then six rivals take over across 24 levels, each one more careful than the last.
