About the game
Bike Repair puts you behind the workbench of a small neighbourhood bike shop. A dog wheels in a bike that squeaks, a rabbit complains that the chain slips, a bear says the brakes feel weak. Riders only describe how the bike feels, so you have to work out what is actually wrong: a squeak could be a dry chain, worn brake pads or a dry pedal bearing.
Inspecting a part takes time, and riders are waiting, so every cause you find is written into your notebook and shows up on later tickets as a suspect part. With experience you can skip straight to the likely fix. Use the pump, patch kit, oil, wrench, screwdriver, spoke key and grease, or fit a new tyre, chain or brake pads when nothing else will do. Send a bike back still broken and you lose a heart. Over 25 days the queue gets longer and some bikes arrive with two faults.
