About the game
Coast Rescue puts you at the radio desk of a tiny coast-guard station. A seal with a headset takes the mayday calls: penguins on a raft, ducks clinging to a capsized sailboat, a family of hamsters stranded on a rock. You pick a call and choose who goes. Orange rescue boats carry four and sail from cell to cell around rocks; the yellow helicopter carries two and flies straight and fast.
The sea never sits still. Storm clouds drift along their tracks, and a boat cannot cross storm water, so the quick route you saw at dispatch may be shut by the time the boat gets there and it has to swing around. A helicopter will hover and wait rather than fly into lightning. Watch the dashed forecast arrows and the live arrival times on each card, and bring everyone home before the storm meter fills. Twenty-four levels add more calls, units and storms.
