About the game
Blast Maze is a grid arcade game about timing and layout. Bolt, a round robot, walks a maze of stone pillars and wooden crates. Drop a bomb, step aside, and two seconds later the blast shoots along its row and column, smashing crates and trapping any puffbug it touches in a floating bubble. Catch every bug before the clock runs out to clear the stage.
The twist is the chain. A blast that reaches another bomb or a red powder keg sets it off at once, so a careful layout can roll across the board. The floor glows red wherever fire is about to land, chained blasts included, so you can plan ahead. Each of the 30 stages has a chain goal for its third star, and stage 3 opens the Arena, a best of three duel with a rival robot.
