About the game
Clue Lock is a pocket logic puzzle about one careful decision. Each treasure chest is shut with a three- or four-digit lock, and next to it lies a clue sheet: a few earlier guesses, each marked with green dots for digits in the right spot, amber rings for right digits in the wrong spot, or a grey cross when nothing matched. Exactly one code fits every line.
There is no trial and error here. You get a single try at the dials, and a wrong code jams the lock. So the game gives you tools instead: tap digits in the clues to strike them out or circle them, and use the notes grid to track which digit can sit in which spot. The first locks have helpful empty rows; later sheets with four digits make you combine two or three clues at once. Stars drop when you use the hint, which pins one digit.
