About the game
Cricket Bat drops you into short run chases: a target, a handful of balls and three wickets. The bowler runs in, the ball bounces down the pitch, and you swipe toward the spot you want to hit it just as it reaches the glowing crease. The field map shows every fielder, so the skill is finding the gaps. Tap LOFT before the ball to go over the top for six, but a fielder underneath means you are caught.
The twist is the bowler's grip. In the run-up it glows red for pace, yellow for a slower ball, blue for a ball that turns right and green for one that turns left. Hit with the turn and you are safe; hit across it and you will edge it unless your timing is perfect. Early chases show an icon and tint the safe side, later ones only the colour. Lose no wickets for three stars.
