About the game
Hex Escape is a pulsing survival game in a spinning tunnel of light. Your tiny ship circles a glowing hexagon while walls close in from every side. Hold the left or right half of the screen to turn and slip through the gaps before the walls reach you. You have three shields, and one comes back every twenty seconds you survive.
The twist is the beat. The whole arena spins to the music, and your ship only half follows it, so the gaps keep sliding around the screen and you have to chase them. Every few beats the spin flips direction, counted down by a ring in the middle of the hexagon. Each stage speeds things up, adds new wall patterns and repaints the arena. Your best time shows as a bar at the top.
