About the game
Island Conquest is a quick dice war on a chain of islands. Every land holds a stack of dice. Pick one of yours with at least two dice and attack a neighbour: both sides roll all their dice and the higher total wins, ties go to the defender. Win and your dice march in, leaving one behind. Lose and your attacking stack drops to a single die.
When you end your turn you get one new die for every land in your largest connected group, scattered over your lands. That makes joining your territory together the real goal, and splitting a rival's group a strong move. Islands are linked by dotted sea routes, and the twist is the weather: when a storm rolls in, sea routes close for a round, so no attacks across water and they don't count for your connected group. Six maps add more and smarter rivals.
