About the game
Jewel Shaft is a falling jewel puzzle set deep in a crystal mine. Columns of three gems drop into the shaft. Slide a column left or right, cycle the order of its three jewels, and drop it so that three or more of a colour line up across, down or along either diagonal. Matched jewels burst, everything above tumbles down, and new lines formed by the tumble chain for bigger points. The pace rises every 20 jewels, and a sixth colour joins at level 3.
The twist is the magic column. Every so often a shimmering rainbow column appears, and wherever it lands it clears every jewel on the board of the colour beneath it. While it falls, the matching jewels glow so you can aim for the biggest haul. Twelve missions unlock new mine themes.
