About the game
Magnet Rail is a calm physics puzzle on an otter's workbench. A spring plunger rolls a steel ball along a metal rail, and you place magnet stages in its path. When the ball clacks into a magnet, the last ball stuck on the far side shoots off faster, so a chain of stages can carry the shot all the way to the end of the rail and into the mug on the floor.
Every magnet adds speed, small ones a little and big ones a lot, but each also has a field drawn around it. Put two magnets so close that their fields touch and they snap together and stop the chain. Rolling costs speed too, honey slows the ball, oil lets it glide, hills need a fast ball and striped bumps throw a speeding one off the rail. A glowing ribbon above the rail shows the speed of the whole chain while you build. Twenty-four levels, three tries each.
