About the game
Nine Men's Morris is one of the oldest board games, scratched into Roman steps and medieval church benches. Each side has nine stones. First you take turns placing them on the 24 points. Then you slide them along the lines, and when you are down to three, they can fly to any empty point. Line up three in a row to make a mill and take one of your rival's stones. Leave your opponent with two stones, or with no move at all, to win.
This version helps you learn. Your mills glow, points where the rival is about to close a mill pulse red, and your own chances shine green. Switch HELP off when you feel ready. Rufus the fox is a gentle start, Bram the badger thinks ahead and Morgan the raven rarely slips.
