About the game
Cape Count is a road-building logic puzzle. Every cell becomes forest or road. All the road cells must link into one network, and no 2x2 block may be entirely road or entirely forest. The circles are capes: each one sits at a dead end of the road, touching exactly one other road cell, and there are no dead ends anywhere else. A number on a cape tells how long the straight stretch is, counting the cape itself, before the road turns, hits the forest or reaches the edge.
The twist is that the road builds itself as you go. Road cells join up with asphalt and a dashed centre line, and every cape draws its straight arm with a live length tag, orange while it is still growing, green when it matches, red when it overshoots. Thirty puzzles run from 5x5 to 9x9, each with exactly one answer.
