About the game
Room Shade is a logic puzzle set in a building at night, also known as Heyawake. The floor is split into rooms, and a number in a room tells you how many of its cells are shaded. Shaded cells never sit side by side, all the open cells must stay connected, and no straight line of open cells may pass through more than two rooms in a row.
Thirty-six floor plans grow from five by five to ten by ten, each with one answer reached by reasoning. A room dims to a soft night light when its count is met, and if a dotted line crosses two walls, a red bar shows exactly where the rule breaks. Undo is unlimited and the hint shades one cell and names the reason.
