About the game
Pet Shelter is a warm little management game about finding the right home. Your kennels hold dogs, cats and rabbits, each with a size, an energy level and a feeling about children. Families arrive with a lifestyle card: a flat or a house with a garden, a calm or an active routine, kids or no kids. Pick a pet and the card lights up green or red for each part, so you can see how well they fit before you decide.
What happens next is the heart of the game. A perfect match sends a happy visit postcard later in the day and wins back a heart. A poor match comes back: the pet returns sad, needs a kennel again, and you lose a heart. Meanwhile the pets need food, play and baths, and new arrivals keep coming, so a full shelter is always a risk. Some newcomers are shy, and you only learn if they like kids after playing with them.
