About the game
Radio Station puts you in the booth of a small town station for a whole broadcast day. The clock runs on its own, so your job is to keep the next three slots filled from a hand of program cards: pop, rock, jazz, classical, news, weather, talk shows and sponsor ads.
The twist is who is listening. Early-bird pandas tune in at dawn and love classical music and the news. Commuting rabbits arrive at rush hour, office bears listen all day and like jazz and talk, students come home in the afternoon wanting pop and rock, and night owls stay up for late jazz. The timeline shows which groups will be around at every hour, so you can line up the right show before they arrive. Play something a crowd hates and they switch off; play the same thing twice and everyone gets bored. Ads earn money and meet the sponsor quota but cost a little mood, so air them when the audience is in a good place.
