About the game
Reef Keeper is a calm aquarium game about a glowing reef tank. Your fish make pearls while they are fed, so keep an eye on hunger and tap Feed before anyone starves. Algae slowly creeps over the glass and slows the pearls down, so rub it away with your finger now and then. Spend pearls on a bigger tank, and the tank keeps making a few pearls even while you are away.
The heart of the game is breeding. Tap two fish and press Breed, and an egg hatches into a baby whose colour is a blend of its parents plus a small random twist. A live preview shows roughly what the baby will look like and whether that shade is new. You start with only three fish, so filling all twenty four colours in the book means planning each pairing step by step.
