About the game
Star Invaders is a classic space shooter with a mischievous twist. Rows of cartoon aliens march side to side and step down toward the planet while your cannon fires on its own. Slide it left and right, hide behind the shields as they crumble, and stop the invaders before they reach the line. A bonus UFO crosses the sky now and then, and big motherships guard waves ten and twenty.
The twist is capture. Some aliens break formation and dive at you, flashing first so you see them coming. Shoot a diver and it turns into a dazed pod; catch it with your cannon and it is yours. Tap LAUNCH and the captured alien flies back as a homing shot that bursts through its friends.
