About the game
Escort Snail is a gentle garden shooter about protecting the slowest traveller in the world. A snail with a bright orange shell is crawling up a winding path toward a lettuce leaf, leaving a shiny trail behind it. Beetles scuttle in from the flower beds, birds circle and dive, ants march in lines, and wasps zigzag in. You hold the watering can: tap a spot and a water drop arcs over and splashes it a moment later, so you aim where the bug is going, not where it is.
The twist is the snail itself. It is shy, and any splash that lands near it makes it pull into its shell and stop. That costs daylight, and the trip has to end before sunset. A hidden snail cannot be bitten, though, so a close splash is also a last-second shield, if you can spare the time. Twenty-four gardens bring longer paths, tougher stag beetles, ant lines, wasps and bigger waves.
